About

Hey  Mama!

Meet Christine

Christine Taylor, Certified Nurse Midwife and Chicago native, relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in July 2014 to help establish a well known, natural midwifery service. After obtaining her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Saint Xavier University and 8 years of labor and delivery nursing, Christine became motivated to pursue a Master’s in Science and Midwifery degree from Philadelphia University.  Christine has worked in a variety of settings, all of which have equipped her with the necessary knowledge and skills required to provide safe and supportive home birth services.

At a young age, she knew her career would involve caring for expectant mothers and babies. Christine has an innate passion for caring for women and provides highly intuitive care during natural laboring and birthing processes. She believes that pregnancy and birth are the most beautiful moments a woman can experience in one’s lifetime and should be treated as such.  Christine resides at her growing Fayetteville, GA homestead with her husband, 2 daughters, 9 goats and 5 dogs (and counting).

Nashawna is a mommy of 2, born in New York and raised in Georgia. She holds a B.S. in biology from Georgia College & State University and a B.S. in nursing from Clayton State University. Nashawna was fortunate enough to have an unmedicated water birth with her daughter, which sparked her love for natural births. After 8 years of nursing, that love resulted in Nashawna obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing, becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. During school, she completed her clinical under Christine, and was hired on as a midwife for Birth by Grace Midwifery. She has truly been blessed to be a part of such a dope birthing team and enjoys helping mommy's live out their birthing dreams. Email: nashawna@birthbygracemidwifery.com

WHAT THEY SAID

Testimonial

"I had the most amazing experience with Christine and Dawn. From when I first found out I was pregnant they were welcoming and always there to answer questions and check in. I love how when you walk into BBG office it is relaxing and nothing but good energy and laughs the whole time. If you want to do a home birth they are honest and let you know upfront that things can happen that are out of our control. Although I started with home birth but wasn’t making much progress I decided to go the hospital. They sent me to the hospital where I would get the best care. I ended up having a c-section but they were with me every step of the way through FaceTime and in person and after I went home. I could not have asked for a better birth team. The preparation and honesty through the 9 months helped A LOT for labor. The home birth classes are informational and interactive. You gain support postpartum with breastfeeding and recovery. I will definitely recommend BBG for anyone!! They were more than a midwife and doula but family."
